If you have settled status it is important to have this linked to a valid ID, your passport or your ID card. If your profile on the government website has both IDs up to date (not expired) you should have no problem travelling abroad with either of them.

There are actually two groups of people who would use the service:
1. Those who have the email or phone number with which their status was submitted. This way, we won’t have to call and explain to the services to restore access to the person’s account.
In this case the service costs £40 and you will only need to forward us the verification code when we start the procedure. This is sent to the phone or email that you used to make the application and that you are already registered with on the government website. ATTENTION – the code is only active for a few minutes and you must act immediately.
2. People who for one reason or another have lost the email or phone number with which their application was made or do not know the document number with which it was made. For them, access will have to be restored by verifying identity and personal data.
In this case we will have to ring and speak to the immigration service which makes our service more expensive and will cost £70.
When we contact and speak to the services, your cooperation is very important – you will need to give us correct and accurate information to identify you: for example, full address, school name or similar. If staff are not satisfied with the answers, they may terminate contact and things may not work out. In this case, we do not refund our fee because we have taken the time and effort to help you. A lot depends on your participation!
